Jesus came to earth to save you, to bring you into a right relationship with His Father

I encourage and plead with you to invite Jesus, the Son of God, into your life today if you've not yet done so, because without Him you're not in a right relationship with His Father, you’re actually an enemy of God. The Bible says [10]"...we were God's enemies..." (Ro 5:10; 1 Cor 15:26; Phil 3:18; Col 1:21), and you need to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, for everyone has sinned against God. We've disobeyed His commandments, broken His laws, and we must pay for our sins. That is His fair decision, but because He loves us and He is merciful, He sent Jesus to live the way we should be living our lives, in obedience to Him by keeping His commandments. Jesus did that; He lived a life of obedience to God, and then He died to save us, God’s enemies (Ro 5:6-10; 8:32; Col 1:20)! His death paid for our sins, our disobedience. He suffered and died on the Cross because death is the payment or punishment for sin.

Death is both physical and spiritual. Death separates; our loved ones died and left us! Physically you’re alive now, but spiritually you’re dead if your sins have not yet been forgiven. The Apostle Paul said to the Saints, the Christians, in Ephesus, [1]“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, [2]in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. [3]All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. [4]But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, [5]made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.” (Eph 2:1-5; Col 2:13; 3:5). Right now, if you don’t have Jesus as your Savior, your sins are in the way, separating you from having a good relationship with God, who is holy and righteous. He is the God of the living, those whose sins have been forgiven. In the words of Jesus, [31]"But about the resurrection of the dead--Have you not read what God said to you, [32]‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living” (Mt 22:31-32; Mk 12:27; Lk 20:34-38).

Only Jesus can bring you back to God, into a right relationship, because He already took your sins and your punishment for sins. All you've to do is believe in Him from your heart and ask Him to save you, and He will (Jn 6:37; Ac 2:21; Ro 10:13). God will cover you with Jesus' righteousness (Ro 3:22; 4:24; 5:19; 2Cor 5:21; Php 1:11; 3:9). If we die without Jesus as our Savior, when God wakes us up from death on judgment day to judge us, God will send us away from Him into the lake of fire in a place of darkness, where we'll live on in agony.  "The lake of fire is the second death" (Heb 10;27; Re 11:18; 20:10-15). But with Jesus in our lives, we'll remain in God's presence, living in the new earth He has already prepared for all who believe in Jesus, a new earth where everything's good--sin and death will no longer exist (2Pt 3:13; Re 21:1).

Everything is as it is now because Satan told Eve a lie and caused her to sin. He told her she'd not die if she did what God commanded her not to do, eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Satan also told her she'd be like God, knowing good and evil. She believed he was telling her truth, and so she listened to him and disobeyed God. Adam then listened to her, even though he knew Satan was lying (Gen 2:16-17; 3:1-6; 1Ti 2:14; Rev 2:19; 20:2, 10), and together, they brought sin and death into the world and the knowledge of evil has been controlling us, overshadowing good (Ro 7:18-19), and truth has been hidden from us. But Jesus came into the world that we might know the truth, follow the truth, and have eternal life (Jn 17:2-3; 18:37).  He said, [6]"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. [7]If you really know me, you will know my Father as well" (Jn 14:6-7).  Again, He said, [12]"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (Jn 8:12).

Believe Jesus today, invite Him into your life and you'll have eternal life, you'll know God, the Father, through Jesus and live in God's holy presence. None of us can say nobody ever did anything for us, because Jesus lived and died for us, but we must believe it to benefit from it. May the LORD God watch over you.

[16] For  God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. [18] Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemn already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. [19] This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. [20] All those who do evil hate the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. [21] But those who live by the truth come into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
