A  POEM

 

To the Believers whose Savior is Jesus, the Son of God.

We who have a strange desire to be good enough for God

We who are constantly defeated and saddened by the unattainable

To the Believers whose Savior is Jesus, the Son of God.

The only goodness we will ever have before God is the substitutionary goodness of His Son.

 

Do not try to be good enough for God;

Instead, strive to be obedient to God.
